anxiety

"anxiety lives in the past and the future. The present moment is where peace can be found."

Jennifer Schofield

By far the most common issue my clients present with, I sometimes think we are in an anxiety epidemic. Our pre-historic brain and body has an overactive emergency response system that goes into overdrive giving us restlessness, worry, panic, and sleepless nights. Living in this pandemic is the time to inoculate ourselves and find better ways to deal with it.
Anxiety is fear, and often the fear of fear. There are great solutions and strategies to beat this monster. These are skills anyone can learn to retrain their stress response.
More importantly, to really get make progress with anxiety you need the right attitude and mindset about it. I’ll give you a hint: When you walk towards the monster in your closet, it shrinks to nothing.

Reach out and let’s tackle this together. Choose a counselling option that works for your lifestyle, I’m ready to listen when you’re ready to talk.
